Abstract

In child care promotion and adolescents see the institutionalization image in philanthropic architectures, "shelters" obsolete idea of treatment. With the psychiatric reform breaks the isolation paradigm to psychosocial rehabilitation and the implication of the network, see proposal against new deinstitutionalization model, appearing CAPS Children and Youth as a care strategy device. This article deals with a descriptive research with systematic observation and mapping of psychosocial care network for children and adolescents before and after the implementation of CAPSi in the city of Itaperuna. We propose a reflection on the experience in this city, the organization of the service network. Focusing on the fidelity of the psychiatric reform in the performances and the need to strengthen care of ties, fostering up new proposals for action in the service logic. The results lead to greater institutionalization before and after the implementation of smaller CAPSi. Discussing the network flow strategies and focus on deinstitutionalization. It was concluded that the proposed CAPSi is a holistic approach, in view of human beings and their relationships in a unique way in which the psychosocial performance has direct implication of the existence of the subject, highlighting their role in care.
