A CONSCIENTIZAÇÃO DO TRABALHADOR QUANTO À IMPORTÂNCIA DO USO DO EPI NA AEROSOLDAS EM MACAÉ

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the main reasons that lead Aerosldas employees to stop using the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing its activities in the company. With the clarification of these reasons, actions can be taken to minimize the chances of accidents during the job, including proposals to encourage the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for accident reduction. The research approach was through a qualitative nature study, where we did a data survey of PPE provided by the company and the cause of the discontent of the use of the equipment. The good relationship between individuals and the protective equipment, when properly designed, means that there is an environment with higher performance and more safety and comfort to workers in the workplace, thereby avoiding many losses for both the company and for the employees.
