Resumen

This study investigates the existing conflict in the relationship between parents 'projection of their children and how this interferes with this family relationship, that is, how parents' expectations can interfere with the process of individuation of biological and adoptive children. For this study, bibliographic research was used, based on the contributions of authors such as Bowen (2010), Andolfi et al. (1983) and Groisman, Lobo And Cavour (2013). The work thus proposes (re) evaluation of parental expectations, which can, in fact, determine the "destiny" of the children, if they compromise the individuation process, pointing, however, to the possibility that the children have to choose (re) formulate the legacy received.
