Abstract

In this article, starting from the concept of interdiscourse under the auspices of the Discourse Analysis of French Line, the objective is the critical analysis of excerpts from the work of Ruth Rocha O que os olhos não vêem (1994), understanding that it communicates with O reizinho mandão (1997), O rei que não sabia de nada (1980) e Sapo vira rei vira sapo (1983). In principle, Rocha's work was written for children and youth, but, as it explores criticality, it is capable of taking the reader of all ages to analyze the society in which he lives. The author, with her poetic writing, invites the reader to take a stand in front of the social problems faced, since the book deals with how a people is governed, having a king who does not care about his subjects. At the time it was written, Brazil lived the period of the Military Dictatorship, as well as the other books, written between 1978 and 1982. In any case, it is possible to perceive in O que os olhos não vêem an interdiscursive environment very actual because of current situation in Brazil today. This paper is an analytical work whose theoretical base is based on authors such as Maingueneau (1987; 2010), Orlandi (1987; 2007), Pêcheaux (1997; 1999), Bakhtin (2015) of the Discourse.
